Losing those utility slots in the late game is killer, for me, because you can't carry a grenade and ammo. Yeah, tossing the berzerker suit on a superior speed ranger can give a guy the whole map of movement in a dash, but without a good stun grenade (or secondary armor) and dragon rounds, it kinda lowers their use.
